OK, the assignment for this was to record a single, for which the cover would be the image suggested by a @textinstagram tweet.
You had to roll dice to randomly get a tweet (the title of the track above) and more dice to come up with the filter (Sutro) for the imaginary cover photo.
The track had to be ambient and no more than 2 minutes.

I figured cutesy cat pics deserve summery major key and chiming noises. I didn't want to go for a total drone.
I grabbed two loops off a soul record, one including a little xylophone melody and the other some bright, clean guitar and a snatch of vox.
I pitched them down below half speed and got to work on them. I added a simple bassline, but basically that's it.
